I have been involved with Colorado Mountain College since I was in high school. It has helped me get ahead in my higher education. I stayed enrolled after I graduated high school and finished my Associates. I am now starting up to finish my four year degree there! It has been an amazing experience and I am lucky to have it in my backyard! Would highly reccomend anyone to take any type of class here, its wonderful.

I am currently attending Colorado Mountain College- Spring Valley and so far I absolutely love it. The Campus is beautiful, the people are super friendly and most of the staff are extremely helpful. The financial aid department could use a tune up due to lack of organization but other than that I highly recommend CMC to anyone and everyone!

One of the only community colleges that offers a 4 year degree in Business or Culinary Arts. Located in one of the most serene places of Colorado, the Rockies give this school an ambiance that can’t be beat. We don’t have the extra stuff like college football teams or soccer but we pride ourselves on just being able to attend. First focus would be to teach you to grow in your endeavors in life and our second focus is to improve the lives of the surrounding community through education. Best campus I have attended would be the Eagle/Vail campus located in Edwards.

Colorado Mountain College has been the best thing to happen to me, educationally speaking. The advisors, staff, and faculty all care about your learning, and work to help you succeed. I am finishing my second Associate’s degree through them, and am also working on a Bachelor’s degree. The tuition is extremely affordable, so if you are looking to start, complete, or restart your education, I encourage you to check out CMC.

I am 56 years old, for the last five semesters I have been attending Colorado Mountain College in Buena Vista, Colorado. Some of their classes are offered in Salida, and makes it easier for me to attend. I have enjoyed the various teachers throughout these few semesters and also found it enjoyable to learn new things. I also appreciate that as an older student I am treated as an equal by both students and faculty. After one more semester and a summer class I will graduate with my Associate of Arts. I wish to move on and work on a Bachelor’s degree in business, to do this at CMC would be a plus.

As a unconventional student, CMC is giving me the opportunity to start my life over, for a good price. The student to teacher ratio is about the best that I have ever seen. (I have attended 5 different community colleges) The faculty and staff, go way out of their way to help, not just this old guy, but every student and prospective student. With classrooms that look out on some of the grandest country in the world, CMC is a world class institution for higher education.

CMC worked great for me! All of my teachers seemed to really care about me and made sure I was understanding the material. Also, the scholarship opportunities are amazing. I was able to go to CMC for two years basically free with my in-district discount and then got all the tuition money for CU via grant when I graduated, Basically, with all the support from CMC I got 3 free years of college and that is priceless! CMC also prepared me for school in Boulder too. My classes at CMC were just as rigorous as they are at CU. Thank you CMC! I had a great two years and miss seeing the beautiful campus!

I attended the CMC Spring Valley campus and it was amazing. Not only do you have the best views in the state just outside your bedroom window, but the community is amazing. Everyone knows everyone and its like one big family. The teachers are stellar and really make a connection with the students which makes it much easier to ask questions. The overall experience i had a Spring Valley was one for the books. It is a great place to live, and go to school along with making life long connections with the best of friends.

I love CMC. For me it worked well because they had classes at night and they have a tone of online courses offered which is great. I almost have my two year degree from them, all of the teachers and counselors are very helpful and willing to work with you if you need it. over all a great school thats very convenient and helpful.
